![]() May God pour out His Spirit in His mercy. I implore all pastors reading this word to preach the whole counsel of God with the utmost urgency. Only Christ, the mighty sin bearer can bring relief to those stricken with the grief of sin. There is a giganitic storehouse of grief being created on earth and in Eternity. Those readers who are reading this comment - This is a confrontation from on High and cannot be lightly listened to. ![]() Mr Ravenhill preaches as though with an urgency that is givrn from above. ![]() Judgement Seat of Christ Leonard Ravenhill When I listen to a sermon like this I wonder how much cheap grace and humanism I'm polluted with. I thank God for this Web-site it is truly a blessing.Wnere are the men of God today who not afraid to preach hell. Fresh manna from heaven not like the grocery store bread that is sold everywheretoday, -with dough conditioners, additives and another 20 ingredients, but no substance that fills a hungry soul! Oh that more would preach Christ in such a manner and on such a subject. I wondered then and I wonder still, if we ministers really comprehend what it means to stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ one day and be fully exposed? This is another message of Christ that must be watered by much prayer and heart searching. I heard Brother Ravenhill preach this message in the late 80's in a smaller church, and also speak on this subject with other ministers. But the true believer will substantiate this message in pangs and pitterpats not invited, but welcomed in their hearts. I can imagine that there will be many who "know better" who will find this sermon to be long in the tooth and short in the memory. We need reminders, often,to live our lives so as to please God, and not to forget that we are going to be held acountable. I am afraid that many Christians fail to realize that a day of judgment is coming, and accordingly are not living as we ought. This message needs to be pronounced in the Church today. This is a very powerful and inspiring message that every Christian is sure to benefit from. He also issues a very powerful challenge and rebuke to the powerless and backslidden church that doesnt live for the final judgment but for the pleasures of this world. He uses an inspiring example of John Wesleys life. Leonard describes the saints and all the rewards they will receive for their works on earth. Then he turns his attention to the Judgment Seat of Christ for believers. He describes the misery of hell that those who are judged will face. He describes the Great White Throne judgment with all the people, great and small, who will be judged, and all the events and sins that will be revealed. Leonard Ravenhill paints an amazing picture of what the judgments of God will be like when all humanity stands for judgment before God. rnieman Colossians 1:28 28Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Even if we live holy, what about if we Hebrews 2:3A- How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation. ![]() Owe how convicting the part about us saints standing before the judgement seat hearing the book of rememberance being read about our life.
